Hi Bloggers!
Today for the SLJ task Tangrams I have done the step it up activity. The step it up activity is to make 4 other Tangrams using Mathigon. But instead of doing the basic ones, we do the advanced ones! Wait… You’re wondering what are tangrams? Well, Tangrams is a Chinese geometrical puzzle. This Puzzle is a square with seven different parts . You use those different parts to make images. To make the images you are welcome to rotate the parts, move them . An amazing feature about Mathigon is that we are able to use little templates . These templates have a image set into it and we have to rotate and move around the 7 parts to make it fit into that image.
It is so cool to do! I really enjoy doing tangrams, They personally help my brain get going and it is really interesting and such a fun activity to do . I think you would love to try this so you can try out doing this task by pressing this link! Mathigon link . ( Not sure if link will work ) You can share how you went with me in the comments, I will be interested to see what you create, you can start with the basic ones if you like and go into the advanced or you can do it any way you like! :))
